Marine Money's first Superyacht Finance Forum in Palm Beach was a tremendous success with delegates, sponsors, and presenters telling us that the event "far exceeded their expectations" and that they "can't wait for next year's event."

With dealmakers coming together to network and do business, the day was filled with engaging and lively discussion coupled with serious private networking and business development. Several key themes emerged throughout the day which highlighted how incredibly important is it for the yacht financing community to come together on a regular basis to discuss current opportunities and challenges.

Whether its sourcing, brokering, packaging, pricing and syndicating credit deals, exploring the development of vendor financing and how structures like private equity, REITs, roll-ups and Crypto are functioning in this marketplace. The fact is that new wealth creation continues to accelerate exponentially in the world, and especially in the United States, which creates a fast-moving and dynamic market for yachts and the community of professionals who serve the industry. As a new, younger generation of "first time" superyacht owners enters the market, sustainability and high technology requirements, not options.

As for the South Florida weather....it was perfect. Our friends at IRI hosted an exceedingly enjoyable closing cocktail reception in the outdoor courtyard....before the last attendees finally drifted away into the balmy, orange-pink twilight...heading off to private dinners on the eve of the Palm Beach Yacht show.
